Q: How do girls deal with groping on the subway??

I'm sick and tired of public transportation here...doesn,t matter if its bus or subway, I get groped. My Chinese is crap but I still try and yell at whoever I think did it, even though sometimes there are so many people it's just impossible to tell where it's coming from.

If I know who did it, would security personnel in subway stations be able to help, or maybe bus drivers?

I thought this just happened in Japan...

i have never really noticed groping in the subway, but i am a man. i do know that chinese girls, women are quite defensive in subways and often more then willing to cover parts of their body they left undressed while walking. they do the same in offices. it seems to keep gropers out of reach. ofcourse chinese bosses are famous gropers although they also get harder and harder times on the workfloor. women grow quite independent last few years. good thing

Don't count on security personnel in subways to help you. Trust me, I have experience!

One time I was in the subway and I felt someone touching my ass. I turned around but I wasn't sure who the culprit was because there were too many people around me. It happened at least 3 times before I decided to squeeze my way to another carriage. After about 10 minutes it happened again and this time I recognised the disgusting culprit who had followed me in to the other carriage! I shot him an evil look and hurled every swear word and insult I know in Chinese at him. He just looked dumb-founded and didn't react much. At the next station we both happened to both get off. A security guy happened to be standing right at the door so I immediately shouted over the the guard and while pointing to the culprit, told him that he's been touching my ass. The security guy barely reacted at all; after asking me to repeat myself he finally asked me which one of the passengers was the culprit, but by then he he'd already dispersed into the crowd.

The only satisfaction I got from the whole thing is seeing the culprit's facial expression when I pointed him out to the security guard and screamed out his crime for everyone to hear. He did look slightly ridiculed but it probably didn't stop him from doing it again. Unfortunately, the pervert gene runs deep in some people.

Must be foreigners, Chinese men wouldn't ever do this! Maybe they are Japanese or Koreans!!! But a Chinese would never, never do this to you!

Haha, I kid you... In fact the dirty little perverts do it often in Guangzhou, as mentioned pop the little bastard in the face, you'll likely knock him out (they have glass jaws) don't put up with it, kick their little tiny asses! Security would laugh at you if you complain...

On a side note, not that it makes it any "better" but at least in Japan... the men wash their hands... think about that! Puzzled These are dirty little ball scratching, ass wiping, nose picking, fingers fondling your goods! Crying

To be perfectly blunt, I'm not sure it is actually groping, I think it's just the sheer volume of people. The amount of times I've felt something brush against my arse while on the subway or a packed bus - always hoping it's some part of a lovely young lady, but it never is - and it's always just some guy who has squeezed on, pushing the carriage to max capacity.

The Japanese are famous for their public transport gropery, but I'd say it's not something that has (yet) been exported to China - thank goodness.

If it happens to you in China, just check to see whether or not it was due to over-crowding rather than some dirty bum-pincher who wants a quick rise.

I get groped all the time, but I'm not particularly handsome. A little overweight, if I say so myself.

I'm pretty sure Ludovico is correct on this one - there's just too many people. It's probably not intentional.

I believe it exists . On line 2 in Shanghai there's one weirdo who's even bolder , known as the Disney man . He harasses foreign women and tells them he is various Disney characters (Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc) . He sticks out his hand to try to shake yours and if you shake his hand he fakes you and goes in for a kiss . Smh strange people

I was in Shanghai not too long ago. This old man was sitting and this girl and her boyfriend wer standing in front. The girls back is to the old guy. Anyway, the old guy just reaches up and pats her behind. she turns around, but does not see who did it. The old guy does it a second time and then a third!
Finally, when the girl turns for the fouth thime, her boyfriend points at the old guy.  Apparently he had seen him grope her!
POW! girl gave the old guy the best right cross I have seen in a long time!
Her boyfriend? He just stared the whole time and after the girl popped the old guy, he pulled her off the train.
Part 2 of the show was not as interesting. The old guy lay on the floor, first cursing and yelling. Then moaning and groaning.  After like two stops, when no one helped the old guy, he just got up and rather quickly got off.
As to the couple, I am pretty sure it is not the guy who wears the pants in the relationship!

As far as the security at the subway helping you don't count on it. I've seen a woman pleading to the security personnel that a guy did something, and she grabbed him after that the lady got kicked and the security did nothing. As far as going for help I would count on the security at the subway at least for now. And as far as bus drivers they are so occupied with driving that they would probably not see what's going on or would not listen to what you had to say..

If it's from behind, an elbow to the groper's chest as hard as you can will knock the wind out of him. You don't even have to turn around all the way.
If he's a short groper, you might break his nose. If he's tall and you're short... decrease his fertility \o/

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
