I keep applying for jobs here but never get a reply, well hardly get a reply. I have the resume and necessary requirements but im finding it hard to land a job, wondering if im missing anything, if there is a magic spice to add to my resume or email when applying.

Please help out a friend in need, thanks in advance Smile

not getting a reply from an application is normal here.

keep sending out the applications because you will eventually get the reply you want.

Aisha@ I gather that you are a non native by the sound of your name. Well, non natives have it tough here but all is not lost. You need lots of patience. Keep sending out applications, someone will notice and call you. I sent out hundreds but only got a few replies. Then again I only needed one door to open. Don't give up! You'll land one soon enough.

Shining_brow:

What do you mean 'non native'??? Everyone is a native of somewhere.

And how is that relevant?

Also, if you haven't already, make sure you delete your application history regularly. If an employer sees you've applied for loads of other positions but you're still looking for work, they might feel a bit wary of your application.  They want the best teacher there is, someone who is highly sought after, and someone who has carefully selected their school over any others Smile Good luck -you'll hear back soon! Also make sure your photo on your profile is a good one -it's all about image a lot of the time. Have a couple of different ones you can use -like one for kindy jobs, one for primary school or middle school and one for older years (or whatever age-group you're aiming for). Think about the image they want to see and strike a pose! Smile

School? Teacher??

Is there something I'm missing, cos I don't see where the OP has said anything about the type of jobs they're applying for!

In China, employers will not reply, if they aren't really interested in your CV. Don't worry!

Keep sending your CV on any job advert, you're interested! Never stop sending it, till you don't land a job.

It's 2 hours daily job, and I consider it similar to my part-time job.

Good luck!
