Q: How do I smoke less IN CHINA?
Seriously I smoke like a retard, and I'm up to two packs a day which is a new record. This is a really hard country to cut down in.

It's almost impossible. At home I smoked a pack a day, and in China it's 2 no problem, sometimes more if I drink alot.
Maybe start buying the expensive smokes for like 70rmb. Then you'll have the financial motivation.
In Australia a 30 pack in $17. Unbelievable.

When I went home to the Pacific Northwest last summer, a pack of 20 was up to $10!
more sex, buy an exercise bike and an hd tv and a ps3 . play while you exercise. idle time and stress (from what you see here) are big problems

Whoa, kchur, two a day? Don't you have kids, man? That's reason enough.
Take some of the enjoyment out of them. Pick a sauce or flavor that you can't stand and dip the filter end of each in said sauce. Hell rub them against chicken feet or you have to. Whatever sets you taste buds off, so your mouth will fight the urge to light up when you don't really have to have a smoke right now.
Australian guy I work with bought a Chinese brand of cigs famed for their horrendous taste. He quit in about 2 weeks.
Actually, in my case since moving to Beijing I have quit smoking altogether! The air here is not so good and just the idea of lighting up made me feel ill, so much to the delight of family and friends I gave it up altogether. Even a month back home, I did not touch a single cigarette!
For most people, China can actually be the worst place to try to quit smoking if you are a man. The peer pressure can be quite difficult to ignore.

I used to smoke 3 packs a day about 10 years ago went cold turkey gave up over night its hard but felt better so did my pocket

Yeah, but here the cigarettes I normally smoke are worth about 2 minutes of classroom time. I barely even notice: the money they cost. Smoking them. Buying them. All subconscious till I look at an overflowing ashtray with a pile of empty packs beside it.
You can Smoke as much as you want just make sure you always light them with two large flint stones
You ever tried that fake cigarette with the water vapor? I heard they had a little nicotine enough for you to get by. It actually works! They sell that stuff here as well.
Mattaya is right they are the perfect alternative I have made the same suggestion in the past half my family uses them they are a fifth the price they come in a verity of favors and they light up when you smoke and best of all they look and feel about the same if you liken that verity
I am a smoker, too. Woohoo! I doesn't help when my fiancee is also a smoker. Cigarettes are just RMB 120 a cart. But..... for alternatives we have an electronic cigarette imported from the states. Its the refill kind. The brand is **NJOY**. Look it up on EBAY or sth. It doesnt taste minty in fact it has no taste but its a great alternative we turn to...when our cigs run out. LOL.
A healthy lung worths more than $10,000 at least.Your body is a treasure.
