you would be advised not to do this as this would open you up to identiy fraud.

NEVER give any access to academic qualification documents unless and until you have accepted a job offer

FYI Identity fraud is VERY common in China. as it is many foreigners can unknowingly be used for advertising, their picture can be taken without your knowledge and the next thing you know you are on a massive bill-board. a colleague of mine was shocked to see his face being used to advertise a product and no idea how or when the picture was taken

*English proficiency: Passport from one of seven "native speaker" countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa). I'd say, Chinese will choose and look especially for a native English speaker at teaching of English Literature job openings.
