Lots of work is 'seasonal', whether it's part-time teaching, acting/modeling, or writing. How do you get work-visa sponsorship in that situation?

Some have a long term RP renewable every 10 years, some others have a full time job and work aside on part time, some pay visa agents with very good guanxi who get them a work visa/FEC/everything else.
Part-time teaching is done by Residence permit holders, I think.
There were loads of FTs at Kaifeng Uni at my arrival in September, working with F visas, but they were all exiting China shortly.
Now at my return, I'm the only FT here. It looks, Henan SAFEA start to implicate 'working regulations in China'.
As I understand, there are no visas for part-time work, so all part-time is illegal by Chinese law.

AFAIK, there's no stipulation in Chinese labour laws regarding what is actually a 'full-time' workload. Thus, technically, someone could be employed as a 'full time' employee, but only work 1 hour per month.
I'd suggest that the local PSB and other organisations that deal with foreigners getting employment here may not accept such a contract, however, a private deal could be struck...
