Q: How do you cope with pollution?

Facemasks, air filters etc, I get that, but how do you cope with the pollution in terms of mood and mental health. It just makes me feel so down, waking up with this smog...

I stopped running outdoor. I went in a gym, run on a treadmill. It's not quite the same as running outside, but I get to play with the other machines. Running with a facemask did not work for me, not enough air and the fabric of the mask is irritating when sweating.

For the moral. Hum... About to buy my one-way ticket home, which makes those things bearable.

I have started dying at a less slow speed than I would have otherwise.

I moved to Xinjiang.  My small city is quite lovely, and not just by Chinese standards.

But not Urumqi.  Definitely not Urumqi.
