Q: How do you find a date in China?

I don't like most of the girls in bars because I question their motifs and dating sites haven't been useful so far. How do most of you men end up meeting your Chinese girlfriends/wives?

well theres your first mistake, never go to bars or clubs to find girls unless you want sex lol, look for younger girls they wil be more genuine, go out during the week end to the city center or shopping center lots of people around

Try QQ; I found my girlfriend on QQ and she is my dream girl; honest, beautiful and loyal. Chinese girls are sexy and not all are only interested in how much money you have in your wallet

I get the impression from your picture and name that you're not a young man. My advice, if that is correct, is to stick with it online. Going to bars is unlikely to help you find anything but tarts, and hanging out in shopping malls (sorry stan) is just creepy. Don't agree with littlemick either (sorry there mick), there are plenty of women out there willing to start relationships with people who they can't make conversation with. Unfortunately I don't have that luxury with my wife, she never bleeding shuts up. Good luck anyway.

Girls are everywhere. Don't be shy.

I would say just look anywhere except a bar or a ktv.

You're scared of rejection? I would fully recommend approaching a girl you like.

Hell people do it to us expecting free English lessons and whatnot!

Just go out, smile and say hello or nia ho until someone talks to you, just always be friendly, the Chinese gossip like crazy, so you can't give any bad impressions. Dress well sporting all the Apple accessories.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
