Q: How do you get a replacement when the store refuses to help?

So has anyone ever bought a good, high-quality phone from a phone store only to have it completely and totally crap out within a few hours of use? That was my experience last night, and we took it in today to get a replacement or a refund. They utterly refused to provide either.
Mind you, this is not your typical store: it's an upscale electronics store with lots of customers and a reputation to uphold. Instead of helping, they gave us the business card of a phone repair store. I kept telling my wife to tell them to either give us a replacement or a refund, but they kept talking over her, trying to maintain harmony and get her to submit to the typical CCP brainwashing.
So that's when Phone Hulk came out. I started yelling at them, "You either give us a f'in replacement or a f'in refund, or I will tell every single person here that you're selling Shanzhai (fake) phones and have bad customer service." I got out my phone and wrote down (in Chinese) what I planned doing, and what I would tell the customers. I went up to the customers to show them the Chinese words on the phone, but the employees took me aside and gave me a new phone and said they didn't want any trouble.
Take note: Chinese do not like confrontation. They prefer harmony and face over everything. You CAN use CCP brainwashing to your advantage.
Any other methods of achieving the same thing without going Phone Hulk on them? I'm all ears.

the only problem for me is that I have to hear how disrespectfully I was on the way home
and up the stairs and as I open the front door and then when I am in the Toilet and Shower and before during and after sleeping 
I have done the same thing over and over again.
The thing is, being British, I am normally the most mild mannered of men. This place has changed me for the worse. It's sad but now I am the kind of person I used to hate.
simple, buy from walmart only when it comes to expensive electronics or metro, carefour or even suning.
now simple, do not leave (make sure you have the receipt) yell scream (after asking politely 5 times) demand to see the manager. do not give up until the police come.

We bought from RT Mart. The new phone is working great... hope it continues to work great.
the key is to be patient. The default answer is that there is nothing they can do, the next answer is that if they give you a replacement then it will come out of their pay, then you will be talking to some random people, e.g. a mall security person, that step into the conversation and do a half-assed attempt in acting like they are on your side. When you get to this point, you are 10% through the process. Then just add more patience and presto, in a matter of just half a day you will have gotten a replacement.

Whoa you had a run in with the phone company and decided to scream at them. I don't know whether I should congratulate you or give you some advice. Either way the best way to handle things is not through physical or verbal violence. Play it cool next time. Talk to them and if nothing else happens bring over witnesses to the scene so they can attest to the crime if need be.

The answer is simple. Go to the store ask to buy a new phone of the same kind. when you have it in you hand, put the other one on the counter and walk out. I have lived in China for twelve years and have done this three times. No problems.

I'm upvoting you because this is a bold and daring move, regardless of any implications. I salute you. 
The most important thing of buying anything expensive in China, even from a big store is to get a "real" fa piao. When you first pay and they give you that little white slip that counts as a reciept in the rest of the world, that won't count for nothing if what you bought has a problem. Usually you need to take that paper and the item you bought to a customer service counter ask them to write out a proper receipt for you, this is called 'kai fa piao'. I bought a humidifier from Carrefour and had a real fapiao, the thing was junk, so I took it back, showed them the real fa piao, and walked away with a new one all in the space of around 10 minutes.
Your only other option would be to pursue a warranty claim, but that probably also needs the real fa piao.
