Q: How do you know if the liquor you bought is counterfeit?

I just bought a bottle of Skyy and a bottle of Baccarti.  Any one know any easy way to tell if it is real or just a knock off?

The first thing I'd do would be to check that the seal hadn't been tampered with.

Well, if it's actually spelled "Baccarti" that's a dead giveaway.

Look on the inside of the bottle, if the Chinese label is slapped over the original one it's likely real.

If you wake up in the morning after drinking it and are blind then I would say it's fake.
I buy and bring back bottles of booze in Hong Kong and stick to beer in China.....safer.
