8 years 17 weeks ago in Teaching & Learning - China
Prepare your CV with all required files and hit the Jobs tag, top R side of the screen. It's a personal experience!
I usually send my CV everywhere doesn't mater 'Native English Teacher' requirement on the job advert.
New requirement is you must have BA from English speaking country. Other thing is 'Foreign Expert Bureau won't grant Working permit to Non in any Province by the coast and in all big cities in China'. Recruiters know that, and they'll dismiss your CV.
Chinese employers won't reply, if they aren't interested in your CV. Never mind!
Don't stop sending your CV till you won't get an interview inviation and Contract show.
Good luck!
I am deaf, retarded, autistic, and mentally disabled I guess. And I don't have a TEFL or a degree. So what did they do? Oh, they made me a TEFL certificate and a degree, and gave me a job. They told me to hand in those jaypegs and that I would have a jorb.
How hard is it? I don't know. It seemed moronically easy to me. I went to China to study, and they somehow pushed me into teaching English as an intellectually-disabled moron.
Oh, you have qualifications? So as long as your skin is the preferred color (white), then you'll have an even easier time than I did! Just make sure you get the right visa.
China has tightened up its rules regarding teachers. You need a degree from a university in USA, UK, Aus, NZ, Ireland or Canada.
The degree needs to get notarised by the embassy of the respective country. This is a clever trick by the powers that be to stop guanxi being exercised by school owners to allow them to hire unqualified teachers. An embassy is pretty hard to hongbao into corrupt practices and is also a long way away.
Icnif will be fine as he is a clever sausage. If I were you I'd listen to him.

I got not positive (all neg.'s) ME today, and I am expecting new FEC soon. School's rep told me to open new Guizhou Bank account for salary deposits, so School is certain I'll get new FEC soon.
Rep. photocopied my original BA without notarisation stamp, and it looks I'll pass.
It seems, FTs in China with RP won't need an authorisation stamp. My hunch!
I got an email from USA poster from Cali yesterday and he said, if School is asking for BA auth., he just flatly tell them, he won't do it. He's in LA vicinity, and it will take him a least one day to return from Chinese Embassy with stamp. I'll report back to the Board, if he will be successful with new Z without BA notarisation.
