Q: How fast in Kbps is each "zhao" speed for broadband Internet
Was looking at Internet plans over the weekend and noticed that the companies measure their services in "zhao" （兆）.
How fast are these speeds in real-world usage?
Is there a Kbps speed average that's tied to each zhao?
Should I just buy the highest zhao package? or are they all about the same after a certain point?

a 兆 is a megabyte.
You need to ask the provider what's the highest your area has. We wanted 12 I think but our community hasn't had it installed yet. And yes, obviously they higher the better.
1 zhao（Mb） =1024 Kbps， Chinese communities usually provide 4 zhao broadband service ，that means your downloading speed could reach 500kb／s. my advise is if you do not have to donwload so many stuff like movies or songs or games，a 2 zhao plan with a downloading speed of 250kb／s is enough！
