if you can speak Chinese, send your Chinese resume to the companies through these job sites, you will get a job.
actually I did it... but nobody need a foreigner...only schools and kindergarten
Non teaching jobs such as jobs at a restaurant or bar? I've seen foreigners from many different countries either working there or running a business in the restaurant industry.
if you want to work as an accountant,it should be quite difficult as a foreigner unless you have much experience, maybe you can try the other careers,or the companies that need people speaking English or Russian.By the way,it's a time few companies recruiting new people now, there will be much more opportunities after the Spring Festival .
Have you tried the Jobs Section on www.polusharie.com. It's a Russian-language board that covers all of China and it is broken down by cities and under each city there is often a "Help Wanted" Section. That might be one place to look.
It will truly be difficult for you to obtain a job for which a Chinese citizen is qualified owing to labor law restrictions unless again it is working for an international corporation. I know that you do not want to teach but still some of the larger universities in Shenyang often have positions for international law, international finance, etc., etc., with the courses given in English. The competition is intense but the positions are relatively well-paying.
Also, Chenhan above provides very good advice, too.
I think you could start with working as a teacher. Once if you got the work experience in China, it would be more advantageous for a NON-teaching job.
And you could probably only have the same salary level as a Chinese here.
I know of quite a few guys working outside of the teaching industry in Shenyang but they are all native English, French or German speakers. The only Russians I've seen here are students or pretending to be Canadian or Saffas to get a teaching gig. Maybe heading up to Haerbin may yield more success.
Try foreign trade or International buyer.Good command of Chinese and English are required for both jobs,It would be a big plus If you can speak one more language.
Good luck.

Does Shenyang have an expat site? I know on Kunmings expat site jobs for foreigners other than teaching sometimes come up.
