Did you try online? ... to find yer online students?

Hit any search engine with "English students ... online" or similar and you should get some results.

You could also spend some monies to advertise yourself as an online E.T. ...

Also, look at general ET job advertisers and you'll get some ...

you have said nothing about what you propose teaching.

I would venture to guess it is not English as I can spot some basic mistakes.

https://answers.echinacities.com/question/l-want-teach-english-china?type=alatest#answer000

It appears to be common on this site that random 'people' say that they want to teach, but show no indication of having used a search engine to do so.

Equally, it is clear that they have made no effort to even look on this site.

I am prepared to bet that this 'poster', like many of the recent posters, does not bother to reply at all.

conclusion?

thanks for your reply! Basically, I teach English and Russian languages. English is not my native language and yes I made couple of mistakes before, this is just the way I speak. I don't really think about grammar all the time n sometimes make stupid mistakes. However when it comes to my classes I take it seriously and teach very carefully, I also spend a lotta time doing research so I can prepare good looking and meaningful materials. Teaching is my passion. Wish u all the best

just out of curiosity, what job searches did you undertake before posting here?
Where have you been looking for potential students?

if you are looking to be an online teacher, did you do any online searches and if so where?
or did you just sit back and post this question first?

And for someone who claims to be 'passionate' about teaching English, you still are making basic mistakes (and are somewhat sloppy). A language teacher would be careful with writing and certainly think about grammar. If I was a potential student, spotting basic writing errors would not be acceptable. The thing about posting online is that unlike spoken langauge which is spontaneous, writing has the opportunity for correction and review before posting. For a language teacher, this is essential.

Just saying

I agree with the other posters. You need to search before asking others to do the work for you. There are too many people who want others to do the work for them.

Search engines provide just as much information as some people have.

If you do not think about grammar all the time what do you think about? I can see that you are from a much younger generation. Your teachers must not have addressed capitalization, spelling, sentence structure among other grammatical

concepts. The following: ur is not a word. It is YOUR. This is not a cell phone where you can make up the spelling for the words you are trying to use.

To say that you are serious when you teach how do you know that? You are not serious when you ask for help finding students. I believe that if you spend more time searching you will find a place to get students. I have found a great source for getting

American students. As far as getting Chinese students there are resources both on Your Tube and the search engines. If you do not put the time in chances are you will not find very much.

There is a  wealth of information out there. Check it out!

Blondie_:

Using "lotta", "gonna" and "wanna" are also evidence of too much time on phones.

The number of times I had to tell students writing dissertations that their English had to be grammatically correct and with correct spelling.no
