Q: How to get rid of the baijiu breath?
Ok......had some baijiu in a meeting and going back to office........don't want people to smell that and get uncomfortable around you........tried gum and the results are not positve..................anyone got any ideas or first hand experience with how to deal with that?
Take bentonite or charcoal capsules. Buy them at a drugstore. Though the taste isn't that appealing, it's the best way to cover up alcohol breath.
No time? Buy some chips and eat 'em. The smell will help cover up the baijiu smell.
Listerine mouth wash and then eat something heavy maybe like a fruit!
Smelly tofu, Durian or Meths works, although the 'cure' may be worse than the 'illness'.
In all seriousness though, chew on fresh mint, or eat some coriander soup.
In all seriousness, though, maybe stop drinking on the job.

For you to think that's some kind of option, you have either:
1) Never worked in China (unlikely)
2) You are so arrogant and socially inept, you don't realize that it's a "get-you-fired" level insult to turn down hospitality, offered at a business meal, especially if your boss's superiors offer. (981 arrogant and socially inept - very likely)
There is no answer for this dealing with baijiu. You'll be burping it and tasting it for up to 3 days later. The only solution is to not drink it.
