Ok I can help you answer your question, but I need to know a few things, kasi alam ko lahat:

1. Ano visa mo dito sa China?

2. Meron na Registered apartment address mo sa local pulis station?

3. Tapos go sa PH embassy and register baby mo tapos sila will give you a PH passport.

Salamat.

My Tagalog is very rusty, I worked 5 years in Makati City, Manila, PH. So Marami pinoy friends dito sa China.

There is a lot of contradictory information on this topic on this site.

Many recommend registering the child in your embassy and getting him or her your countries passport.

However, if the child was born in China, at least two posters (one with a French passport and one with a Czhech passport) have said that they need some kind of an exit visa from the Chinese government simply because the Child was born in China.  So it seems that registering the child with the embassy and giving him or  her your nation's passport is insufficient.

How these two solved their problem, they never said.

This very point is one of the reasons why I am hesitant to begin a family in China, at least until I hear from someone who managed to get their child out of China and how he/she did it.

Best of luck to you!

Call your embassy in Guangzhou, ask them, and if the baby lands in PH, tapos 100% sure your baby will get a PH passport sa Pasay City, tapos go sa DFA and apply lang. But first get your birth cert translated into English and stamped.

Youll be fine after you get an exit permit.

Get all your documents ready and go to Philippine embassy and show all your documents and they will give you instruction on how to arrange your new born baby documents
