Q: How has Communication from China changed over the years?

When I first met my wife we used email, text messages ,and phone calls with the aid of a phonecard .
then when we moved to Australia and she wanted to stay in touch with friends and family in China QQ was a better option .
These days we just use wechat.
It is so much easier than ten years ago and so much cheaper.

I just talked to my 80 year old mum on wechat video this morning. She has all the grannies back home on it now.

I get more wechat phone calls than standard calls these days.

Wechat rules my life....when I arrive at work or leave I get a notification, work email, pay for taxis, dinner, you name it. My wife even uses it for mahjong betsno

Hasn't changed for me. Didn't communicate with people before, don't communicate with people now.

All I do is wait for my death. Should be any day now.
