Q: how i can renew my expired x visa,i just got extension of one month?
i am a student here my residence permit expired on 9th of june .it was my fault that did nt applied for a new one on time.three days after expiry i gone to immigration to renew it.they taken my documents and said ok pay 500 rmb per day as a late fine.but now the situation turned.they are refusing to issue me a new residence permit.and also the school is forcing to go anyother school .they told me that we can get one month time from immigration office so you can easily get in another school.but on on the other hand no school want to give me admission becz of my residence permit problem.so if anyone know about plz help me,

yeah there are many problems of x visa.but nt same as mine.i hope someone can give me the exact answer.now i am illegally staying in china.i am in my school.and the school office told me that we can ask for one month(that will not be on my passport,just a letter) from the immigration office.so is that possible?and with that letter can i legally move around in china?

Go to PSB and you will get good answers there. The letter you refer to is probably an exit permit to leave China within 30 days, since your residence permit is no longer valid when you stopped working. With that letter you can safely move inside China (but can only exit China once, will not be allowed back in) seeking another job. But only PSB can give you official answers, I can't based on just a few words without reading what you are referring to.

Bite the bullet, accept the consequences... and live with them. (and, learn from them!!)
If you get lucky, and they let you stay - good fortune to you... if they don't, and you have to go home - tough!
The letter is for the PSB and they can issue a 10 day to 30 day visa or stamp, unfortunately it's an exit stamp so chances are you will have to exit to either get a new L or X visa or continue to stay illegally. Sorry but choose your poison, hopefully you will learn from this and use your head next time. I'm really tired of hearing, oh, well I knew my time was coming up but I just let it go. I know you weren't actually going to school or there would be no problem of your school renewing for you. As it is, schools are being watched quite closely for foreigners who have x visa's but actually don't go to school, just use the school for visa issues, which these days brings trouble to the school from the PSB.
