Especially with people working with me. Or with other people.
I gave up giving you advice long time ago because of your attitude, but I am willing to try again. Dealing with others successfully has a lot to do with empathy. If you are with someone, imagine yourself in their position. How would you want them to treat you if you were them? Then treat them so. I'm not saying you shouldn't be yourself or that you should do things just to please others. I'm saying that whatever you do or say, you should project the same feelings that you would want to feel if you were in their place. If you can learn to do this, you will find that all your workmates will have a good feeling about you. They might not know why, but you will be very popular with them and they will make your life easier at work.
practice the art of diplomacy.
Viki87:

I am bumping this post again because Viki, this shows that you failed to take on board useful advice on how to treat your work colleagues you were given over a year ago.
You repeated your same behavior in your current work-place six months later.
Why do you think you end up asking the same questions at regular intervals.
do you actually read and process the useful advice you are given, or is it all about the attention?
