I am going to begin a new teaching job in Hangzhou.
My Residence Permit will expire June 14.
My current employer will give me my cancellation letter and release letter on May 31st at latest.
Will this give me enough time with the Foreign Expert Bureau to make it to the PSB by
June 14th? Worried about the time and the current employer are not budging much on May31st.
Will this give me enough time?
Thank you.

When you're renewing an RP as long as you have it submitted and in the system you're ok.
I'd assume it's the same in your situation.

What is “the system”? I know the employer can apply online at the Foreign Expert Bureau but three need to approve the application before the expiration to go to the PSB. Correct? Just seeing if I have enough time.

By system I mean while it's being processsed, and usually if your old RP expires while the new one is being processed it's ok, doesn't make you illegal or anything.
Questions: Is your new employer legally able to hire you? What has your new employer told you regarding the new RP? If they do this a lot, as they would if they have foreign teachers then they'll have a good idea of what's involved and should be able to answer any questions you have.
My question is two weeks enoughbtine from the submission of my application until being able to go to the PSB. I know I have until the last day of the Residence Permit to go to the PSB. My question is how long does the Foreign Expert Bureau take to Ok my application.
My asshole agency won’t allow my school to extend my Residence Permit to extend my time two weeks. They stated they are in the process of canceling my work permit. they say. This only gives me about eight working days for the Labor Bureau to price ss my application.
This is my worry.
Is this enough time?
philbravery:
Sorry to State the obvious but, have you talked to the Labor bureau directly about this?
Stiggs:
I don't know how long it takes but again, talk to your new school about this.
They're the ones sponsoring you and getting you the new RP, they should probably be working on that now in fact so it's a smooth transition.
That's how it worked for me in the past when I changed schools. The new school talked to the PSB when we agreed I was going to work there, they told me what I needed to do and get from the old school and they were working on the new RP before I even finished my old job.

When you submit your paperwork you are issued a piece of paper to use in place of your passport and with the date for collection. The length of time doesn't matter.
