Q: How long should you wait after the interview?

Ok so I'm new in town since 3 weeks, and have been on a few interviews so far. They always said that they will call/email me. How long is the normal waiting period?

Where I am the interview process is a formality. If you're a white, native-English speaker you're 99% guaranteed a job there and then.

It will depend when they need a new employee.  If it is to fill a current vacancy, it will be in days.  But if they are considering you for the next year term, then could be weeks.

It is really hard to tell.  But the longer it goes without an answer, the lesser your chances of landing a job there.
