Q: How to make sure that the school is authorized to hire foreign teachers?

Is there something I can ask them to show me? Like a business license? I read that it is supposed to be a small booklet with Chinese text only. Some other website also states that I should ask for the school's SAIC business license number and their registration number with the Provincial Tax Bureu.

You heard about small booklet or did you read about it here?

'Where to ask about School's 'laowai' hire authorization?'

You could also try to ask about School's license at Farmers market near by.

Butchers with lamb meat are very knowledgeable, I heard. They rarely speak English, so I'd say you should have one or two Chinese to accompany you.
