Q: How to make your time in China more interesting ?

As not everyone ,especially the ones from west countries ,will be in China for all your rest life,do you have any plans of your time here  or any  suggestions to make your  time in China more interesting? And what do you want to do most when you are here?

Studying the language is an important one for me; I first visited ten years ago for 7 months and it was like being inside a goldfish bowl, the whole world was on the outside and I couldn't fully interact. Since studying for a bunch of years I can now get involved with the world around me, which makes life more interesting. My plan now is to get involved with a gigging band; I play saxophone and I want to find some musicians who I fit with. Probably won't be easy as i'm not in one of the areas that has many foreigners in it. I like funk, soul, blues, a bit of jazz and Caribbean and South African type sounds; I don't think it's going to be easy to find Chinese musicians who are compatible, but i'll look.

Study Chinese and other things, exercise, and watch Chinese films.

Things to do to make it more interesting if you have time? Well, I have many ideas. One that I want to do is to buy a 'huang bao che' and give people no charge. After living in an area for a year, you will know many of the places. You will get great exercise, and the peoples reactions will make the day quite enjoyable.
