Q: How many bike/ebike riders here have had a taxi driver blame you for damage?
Just been on my ebike, taxi drove into me from the side. It was all very slow, no damage to me, bike or taxi.
However, the cabbie decided to stop me and inspect his car. He tried to blame me for rust damage to his door!!!!
I told him where to go and left.
How many others have had run-ins with taxi drivers whilst on a bike/ebike or walking?
It happen similar to me some year ago. I was riding bikes with my son that morning. some cars, black cabbies, waiting for business, while that time my 2y.o. son, can not properly turn right. I was knowing it will happen probably, but waiting if he can turn or not. ok, in his high speed of 3km/h bumped into bumper. just touched and fall down. the drivers immediatly come and checked and insisted, that the damage from many accidents before , and like hlaf meter far away from the touch place, was caused by us. sure, the soft rubber wheel can make 2mm deep scratches in area like 20x20cm...
One, if you count vomit damage. According to the wife, that guy was 'not' happy. Fortunately I have no recollection of the events whatsoever.
The next time a bastard cabbie pulls out in front of me I'm gunna T-bone the mongrel.
And then I'll go right off and who knows what's gunna happen?
