I think I have had alcohol a grand total of one time, unless you count an occasional sip. It was beer, and I hate the taste. I just downed two of those little glasses, of course I didn't feel anything. My Chinese friend, she had 2-3 little glasses of beer, was basically tipsy and practically falling asleep on the way back to her dorm. I couldn't believe it.

I usually have the odd beer each week. On 2 occassions I've had one beer in a bar. Two other times I drank a bottle of Baileys, just a little buzzed.  One night I drank 10 beers while walking around, one after another, got a nice buzz. Thats it for three months. I have a bottle of champayne I brought from home, but my girl friend won't drink. So I get to look at it in the frig.

I don't do the bar scene. I can't justify paying 28 or 35 rmb for a Coors or Carlsberg. I usually meet a few buddies at a small BBQ place where we have been known to pound back more than our fair share of Harbin beers. The atmosphere is lively, we bring our own tunes which we play in the small music box right on out table. The nite usually lasts for 5 or 6 hours. The owner likes us and there are ganbei's all around. He alway's has cold beer ready to go. Good times.

Usually just a weekend drinker.  There's a couple of "Irish Pub" style restaurants here where I can find a decent Guinness....yum.  The pounding of Snow, Harbin, Daliangshan, Qingdao, and other assorted horse-piss beers are usually reserved for outings with the boss or KTV adventures with friends.

Personally I drink in bars..sometimes KTV.. at home and at dinner with friends...all in about 5 nights a weeks.  If it wasn't for my GF getting mad at me I would probably drink more here and 7 days a week.

I like drinking at dinners and stumbling into the bars. Usually at weekends but there is usually the odd mid-week spontaneous event.

I will have a beer while watching a movie at home if i don't go out.
Usually, I will drink with my friends when we go out for dinner, but again ,I will stick to two beers MAYBE three.
We sometimes get together at each others place and have proper cocktails. Gin, Jack Daniels, Bacardi, etc. This kind of event is when I was introduced to the odd custom of mixing coke and brandy.
Tonight was an exception for me. I got my hands on a bottle of Gordons Gin, a gift from one of my friends, Had a couple of Gin and Tonics. Feel nice!

Well the local beer is so week and is like water 3.3 so we normally have a few with our dinner and 3-4 times a week we then move on the good stuff hua jiu wine or bi jiu.

I drink twice per week, Thursday and Friday. Since I got the current girl friend sometime i spend the whole week without drinking.

i usually drink on Thursdays as a reminder of pub crawl during Uni...Fridays I go out with colleagues to play badminton 7:00-10:00 pm and buy some chinese beers after game (though not much prefered)  and watch movie..

saturdays i buy german beer and my choice is Hefewizen which i can buy at Carrefour...saturday evenings i prefer to be home so that i could watch football (mostly EPL)...drink beer, watch football and get connected with friends via facebook...

Sunday - wednesday i like to be clean of alcohol though unexpected  outings with colleagues can lead to baiju anytime of the week...

BTW i made a rule after many gambeis with baiju that I will not do gamebei with everyone and i touch it for at least half an hour of food consumption...In the beigining Chinese friends were at unease with this behaviour but now they are used to it and some of them are even following it....I realized that they also get drunk with baiju but can't tell clearly with their boss or seniors, as a matter of respect or saving face....

Cheers..it is saturday and going to need "thousands and thousands" of beer cans as Champions league final is being played almost in the early morning next day....

Geez I drink everyday....it ranges from water, coca-cola to any type of juice!

Alcohol kind of lost its purpose for me when I learnt to control my drunk self, thus cancelling the anti-shyness effects.

Zero days. Alcohol sucks. But if I could find some time to drink some good brandy or sherry then hell yea.

I used to drink almost daily here in china, few years ago. since i have family now here, i have reduced it to every saturday. basicly, at home, front of my pc or on the balkoni, get my Jim Beam bottle and do some biceps excs with the glass I feel so good than, when enjoy the taste and feel of drunk, think out of daily matters which screw me so much ...
