That's the question now, or one of them...  what damage will he do on his way out?

If he had a normal job they'd have the security guys present to take his keys and escort him from the premises when he got the chop so he couldn't burn the company to the ground on the way out.

Summary:

The mainstream media has launched a coordinated effort to proclaim Joe Biden President-Elect.

President Trump and his campaign team have reminded Americans that "legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."

As Constitutional lawyer, Jenna Ellis explains"Joe Biden is not the president-elect just because media declares him so."

Media coordinated efforts are attempting to simply declare Joe Biden the president and ignore the rule of law.

There is no official winner until every legal vote is counted accurately, the states certify results, and all legal challenges are resolved.

As a reminder, here are the official dates that matter (as opposed to what CNN et al. think).

  • December 8: States are expected to resolve controversies at least six days before the meeting of electors.

  • December 14: Electors meet in respective states to certify their votes for President and Vice President.

As Trump said earlier, "this election is far from over."

Update 1600ET): As we await Bden's 2000ET speech, here's where things stand with the electoral college: Biden has won PA, with Nevada and Georgia both trending heavily toward the 'blue' column.

As we noted earlier, both of Georgia's senate races will head to a runoff, meaning neither will be decided until January, leaving control of the Senate in limbo. Republican incumbents are heavily favored in both races.

Trump is not going to go away quietly and the ridiculous idea that over 70 percent of Americans actually voted this time is not going to sit well with his voters. I'm afraid we just stirred up a pot of consequences in the future that will be much worse. Secret Service protection could make him the next Grover Cleveland and if the democrats don't do something for the working class, well it could become France over the long term. Beijing Biden will probably do a mask mandate and 90 day shutdown if the Wuhan Flu gets worse with the hopes of a depression to make all Americans debt slave handout democrats for the long term. If Trump leaves the country, all is well, screw them, they don't appreciate what I did, but if he stays, vengeance is mine. I hope I'm wrong, but usually I'm not.

Some statistic ... , i.e. "you're cheating ..."

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2020-11-08/trump-received-more-votes-any-...

I just ran across some interesting statistics ...

Putting aside how many votes were obtained by voter fraud, and focusing just on the MSM numbers, Biden received the most votes ever for a presidential candidate: 75 million or more.

But Trump received the second most in history: 70.5 million or more. This is more than anyone else has ever received before this election.

So Trump is right when he said today that he received more votes than any other sitting president in history.

Indeed, Trump received a little over 7.5 million more votes than he received in 2016: 62,984,828.

So - by one metric - Trump is more popular than he was in 2016.

But both Biden and Trump's numbers seem less impressive when you note that the number of voters in presidential elections has steadily increased throughout American history.

And they are even less impressive when you remember that there are around 240 million eligible voters in America.

So Biden and Trump each got less than one-third of Americans' votes.

All this talk of rigging the votes...

Republicans still hold congress which makes it difficult for Biden to do anything, and Democrats lost seats in the house. If you're going to rig a vote wouldn't you do it properly?

Ilargi Meijer: Biden 'Is' The Swamp

With Biden you don’t just get Biden, you get the entire cabal that went after Trump: the Democratic Party, the media, the intel agencies... How people do not find that a whole lot scarier than Donald Trump is beyond me...

Authored by Raul Ilargi Meijer via The Automatic Earth blog,

Since the US has no official institution to call an election soon after the polls have closed, and people want a result fast, it has befallen on the media to make the announcement. And by and large, this hasn’t been that big a deal. But when those same media have for 4 years relentlessly hounded one of the two candidates, it should be obvious that this “system” should not be applied. If only because it has no legal status whatsoever.

However, people both in the US and abroad don’t appear to be aware of this. So when the New York Times et al declare a winner, this is seen as an “official” announcement. It is not. That won’t come until the Electoral College gathers in December (8-14th?!). And at least until then, Trump will have every right to contest the election in court. Still, “world leaders” are congratulating the “next president”. Do they really not know how this works?

The idea behind it all is obvious, of course: to make Trump look like a sore loser, and Biden the president-elect, a title the media claim they can bestow upon him. Do remember that both Biden’s and Kamala’s campaign were considered dead in the water at one point, before they were magically resurrected by the party machine, which ensured that =two people very unpopular in their own party now lead the ticket. Be careful what you wish for.

In that light. I found this intriguing. Twitter adds a warning to this Trump tweet: “Official sources may not have called the race when this was Tweeted”. I haven’t seen one instance where they attached the same warning to tweets about Biden winning and being President Elect. But wouldn’t that be the same thing?

Trump’s Election Lawsuits: Where the Court Fights Are Playing Out

The Trump campaign has launched a legal onslaught over vote counts in battleground states that are slipping away from him.

The Trump campaign has filed at least seven lawsuits in battleground states since Election Day to challenge the ballot counts. The president released a statement Saturday rejecting the idea that Joe Biden had won and pledging his campaign “will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated.” So far, his suits have yet to give examples of widespread voter fraud.

If Biden’s lead expands in the electoral college vote, few of the court cases may have a real chance to change the final outcome. Trump has scored three wins and five losses since Nov. 3. Below is a list of key court cases to watch:

Pennsylvania

With 20 electoral college votes, Pennsylvania is the prize that helped push Biden past the needed 270 votes he needs to be the winner. The state has already seen its voting practices get challenged all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which voted 4-4 in October to leave intact a three-day extension to receive mailed ballots. Republicans are seeking a reversal of that ruling now that Justice Amy Coney Barrett is on the court.

Court: U.S. Supreme Court

Case Name: Republican Party of Pennsylvania v. Boockvar, 20-542; Scarnati v. Pennsylvania Democratic Party, 20-574

Status: Appeal of state supreme court decision

Summary: Two groups are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to rule that Pennsylvania cannot count mail-in ballots that arrived up to three days after Election Day but were postmarked by Nov. 3, an extended deadline upheld by the state supreme court. The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the case before the election but explicitly left open the possibility of doing so after the vote. The Trump campaign filed to intervene in the case Wednesday, which could push the high court to take it up again. On Friday, state Republicans asked the court to order Pennsylvania counties to segregate mail ballots that arrived after Election Day, saying state officials haven’t gone far enough to make sure those votes can be invalidated if the GOP wins the legal challenge. Democrats said Thursday the number of ballots at issue likely would not "be large enough to be decisive in the races for president and House of Representatives.”

Court: Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania

Case Name: Donald J. Trump for President Inc. v. Kathy Boockvar and County Boards of Elections, 602 MD 2020

Status: Trump win

Summary: President Donald Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee sued Pennsylvania’s top election official, Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, claiming she improperly extended the deadline for absentee and mail-in voters to provide any missing proof of identification from Nov. 9 to Nov. 12. They scored a victory on Thursday when a judge ordered Boockvar to segregate mail-in ballots from voters providing identification between Nov. 10 through Nov. 12, saying she would rule later on the validity of the deadline extension.

Court: Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania
Case Name: Hamm, Kelly, Allred, Horner, Connor and Hauser v. Boockvar, 600 MD 2020

Status: Trump partial win

Summary: A Pennsylvania state judge on Friday ordered county boards of election in the state to put aside provisional ballots cast on Election Day for voters who also sent absentee or mail-in ballots that arrived on time. The ruling came in a lawsuit brought a group of Pennsylvania Republicans, including Mike Kelly, who was elected to a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, that have been challenging what they believe to be defective ballots. The judge denied a request for a preliminary injunction.

Court: Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Northampton County (Easton).

Case Name: In re: Motion for Injunctive Relief of Northampton County Republican Committee, C-48-CV-2020-6915,

Status: Trump loss

Summary: A judge dismissed a lawsuit Friday which was filed by a group that includes Republican candidates and officials who sought to block election officials in Montgomery County, which is mainly Democratic-leaning suburbs of Philadelphia, from notifying voters and helping them “cure” defective votes. The judge said the suit lacked merit.

Court: Pennsylvania Supreme Court

Case Name: Philadelphia County Canvassing Observation Appeal, 1094 CD 20

Status: Trump win, Democrats have appealed the ruling

Summary: The Trump campaign sued on Election Day, claiming its representatives were being denied “reasonable access” to monitor the counting of votes in Philadelphia because they were kept at a far distance from the process. The suit was dismissed on Wednesday by a Philadelphia trial court, but an appellate court on Thursday reversed that ruling and ordered officials to allow all poll observers to watch the ballot-counting from a distance of six feet. Philadelphia election officials are seeking to appeal that decision to the state’s highest court.

Court: U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Case Name: Donald J. Trump for President Inc. v. Philadelphia County Board of Elections, 20-5533

Status: Judge denied request for an injunction, saying an agreement was reached

Summary: The Trump campaign filed an emergency request to stop the county Board of Elections “from continuing to count any ballots so long as Republican observers are not present as required by state law.”

Arizona

Biden is ahead by about 20,000 votes in the state, buoyed by a strong response in the state’s most populous county, Maricopa. The Trump campaign filed its first suit in the state after Biden was declared the winner by several media outlets Saturday.

Court: Superior Court for the State of Arizona

Case Name: Donald J. Trump for President Inc. v. Katie Hobbs

Status: Awaiting hearing

Summary: The lawsuit says potentially “up to thousands” of voters in Maricopa County were disenfranchised because poll workers directed them to override a ballot rejection by pressing a green button on the machine that actually disqualified their vote without further adjudication.

Michigan

Biden is the projected winner of the state’s 16 electoral college votes, according to the Associated Press. The Trump campaign has tried to halt the count, saying it needs more access.

Court: Michigan Court of Claims

Case Name: Donald J. Trump and Eric Ostergren v. Jocelyn Benson, 20-000225-MZ

Status: Trump loss

Summary: The Trump campaign claims it hasn’t been given meaningful access to counting locations to observe the process for opening and tabulating ballots as guaranteed under state law. A judge on Thursday rejected the request, saying “At this point, the essence of the count is completed, and the relief is completely unavailable.”

Georgia

Biden has a narrow lead in the state where a Democrat hasn’t won a presidential election since Bill Clinton in 1992. A recount will be held, Georigia’s secretary of state said.

Court: Eastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia

Case Name: In Re: Enforcement of Election Laws and Securing Ballots Cast or Received after 7:00pm on November 3, 2020, SPCV20-00982

Status: Trump loss

Summary: The campaign claims a Republican poll observer in Chatham County, which includes the Democratic-leaning city of Savannah, witnessed late ballots being illegally added to a stack of on-time absentee ballots. A judge rejected that assertion, ruling Thursday that “there is no evidence that the ballots referenced in the petition were received after 7 p.m. on Election Day, thereby making those ballots invalid.”

Nevada

The Trump campaign held a press conference Thursday announcing it would file a lawsuit alleging 10,000 votes were illegally cast by people no longer residing in the state. Instead, a suit was filed by a group that included Republican officials who claimed “over 3,000 instances of ineligible individuals casting ballots.”

Court: U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada

Case Name: Stokke et al v. Cegavske et al, 2:20-cv-02046-DJA

Status: Trump loss

Summary: The case targeted Clark County, a heavily Democratic area that includes Las Vegas, with two Republican candidates for Congress claiming the election there was “plagued by irregularities.” The Republicans failed to produce evidence of wrongdoing , a federal judge ruled in tossing the suit. If they return “with more evidence,” the judge said, he’d reconsider the case.

Wisconsin

The Trump campaign has said it will seek a recount in Wisconsin, where he trails Biden. The president’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, suggested another lawsuit could be filed in the state, claiming “exactly the same thing happened” as in Pennsylvania in terms of denying the Trump campaign access to the ballot count. No suit has apparently been filed, although one Democrat has asked a judge a New York to step into the matter.

Court: U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York

Case Name: Pierson v. Stepien, 20-CV-9266

Status: Filed Nov. 4

Summary: A Wisconsin woman who voted for Joe Biden asked a federal court in Manhattan to block the Trump campaign’s manager, its lawyer “and any of their agents” from seeking the launch of a recount in Wisconsin, claiming in a lawsuit that a “peculiar” state law allowing any candidate with ample cash to demand a recount has fueled “a scorched Earth tactic to sow discord and paranoia in the fields of Wisconsin.”

Stiggs:

I don't know if it was you, or Zerohedge quoting from that AP report that's linked there but whoever it was did a pretty crap job of it, one might even suspect deliberately.

Here's what your highlighted section actually said in the original report...

"Attorney General William Barr has authorized federal prosecutors across the U.S. to pursue “substantial allegations” of voting irregularities, if they exist, before the 2020 presidential election is certified, despite no evidence of widespread fraud."

I highlighted a couple of points that you or ZH seem to have decided not to include, but that change the message quite a lot, wouldn't you say?

You can, and should, read the whole thing yourself but I thought this part here -among others - was quite important and if you're trying to accurately describe the situation should be mentioned....

"Biden holds a sizable lead in multiple battleground states and there has been no indication of enough improperly counted or illegally cast votes that would shift the outcome. In fact, election officials from both political parties have publicly stated the election went well, though there have been minor issues that are typical in elections, including voting machines breaking and ballots that were miscast and lost."

I wanted to write a warning:

"Better read is straight from the Bloomberg ..", but I forgot.

TOR's Bloomberg article was different because there are many location seeking blocks set on through the TOR. I am also able to read as many as 3 articles per day for free 'cause TOR erases software data (cookies and such ...) at the end of the day, and then next day, I am new potential subscriber in the website's 'eyes'.

Opera's article had listed some 7 or 8 US states, where law suits were filed, and on TOR there was no such thing. Just an article without any subtitles.

I edited .. Bloomberg's and c&p the whole article, again ... without the highlights ...

Now, I see what you are saying ...You are talking about Zero's article, not Bloomberg's ...

Don't miss any of this:

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/giuliani-says-over-50-witnesses-600k-unlawful-ballots-pa-nevada-poll-worker-attests

  • *Trump campaign files lawsuit in Pennsylvania
  • *Ohio Attorney General has joined a bid to ask the US Supreme Court to toss the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's late-October ruling allowing late ballots to be counted.
  • *Two Georgia GOP Senators call on Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger to resign over failure 'to deliver honest and transparent elections.'
  • *Pennsylvania Supreme Court agrees to hear GOP challenge over dozens observers who claim they were 'corralled' and unable to view count, which may invalidate up to 800,000 ballots.
  • *Nevada poll worker attests to outright fraud.

Update 1810ET: The Trump campaign has filed a 105-page lawsuit in the US District Court in Pennsylvania alleging that the state operated an illegal 'two-tiered' voting system for the 2020 general election, and has sought to block the state from certifying the count.

As LawandCrime.com reports, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat, and seven Keystone State county boards of elections are listed as defendants. These boards come from Allegheny, Centre, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia counties.

The case has been assigned to U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann, a Barack Obama appointee.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has agreed to consider a GOP challenge claiming that Republican observers were unable to oversee ballot counting, thereby invalidating hundreds of thousands of votes, according to Reuters.

The decision to hear the case is separate from a challenge to the PA Supreme Court's ruling regarding ballots received after election day.

The news comes as Rudy Giuliani says at least 50 GOP witnesses say they were 'corralled' by Philadelphia election officials on election day and 'weren't able to see a single ballot' counted behind closed doors. He claims that the roughly 800,000 votes counted after that 'are invalid.'

Obama Security Adviser Admits Biden Is Already Talking With Foreign Leaders; A Breach Of The Logan Act

Tue, 11/10/2020 - 09:45

Former Obama deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes admitted Monday that Joe Biden is already speaking with foreign leaders as if he is the next President, a move that some believe to be a breach of the Logan Act, the same law that President Trump’s former national security adviser Gen. Mike Flynn was prosecuted under.

“We’re going to have the pageantry already of the president-elect announcing his advisory board. He’s going to start announcing cabinet secretaries. The center of political gravity in this country and the world is shifting to Joe Biden. Foreign leaders are already having phone calls with Joe Biden, talking about the agenda they’re going to pursue January 20th,” said Rhodes.

This is the exact same scenario that Obama advisers accused Gen. Flynn of being in prior to Trump’s inauguration, when the former national security advisor was purportedly communicating with foreign officials, including the then Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Flynn was forced to resign after his conversation was exposed by the FBI, which was monitoring Trump campaign officials’ communications at the behest of the Obama administration.

In addition, notes made by former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, which were later made public by the Justice Department, suggested that it was Joe Biden himself who suggested using the Logan Act against Flynn, although the claim was denied by former FBI head James Comey.

After initially pleading guilty to making false statements to the FBI, Flynn retracted the plea in January of this year after claiming that the terms of his plea deal had been violated by government officials.

The case is still ongoing, and under review after documents pertaining to it were discovered to have been altered.

If indeed Biden is speaking off the record with foreign leaders, it adds to the charges stemming from the Hunter Biden laptop case, which allegedly proves that Joe Biden was involved in dodgy foreign business deals with Chinese and Russian government agents.

THIS ... or ... surprise

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/why-biden-should-second-trumps-call-...

Why Biden Should Second Trump's Call For Ballot Reviews

If Joe Biden wants to bring our country together, he should endorse President Trump’s demand not only for recounts but extensive ballot reviews in at least the four states where the Democrat now leads by a whisker: Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

This statesman-like move would acknowledge that those who did not support him have legitimate concerns about ballot integrity in an election defined by the sudden and massive shift to mail-in voting. It would demonstrate Biden’s commitment to fair elections and help remove a cloud that may hang over his likely presidency.

Biden, of course, overcame significant election night deficits to eke out bare margins in those four states. On Saturday afternoon, he had a 20,500 vote lead in Arizona out of 3.25 million votes cast; in Georgia he was beating Trump by 7,000 votes out of 4.9 million cast; in Pennsylvania he enjoyed a 38,000 vote margin out of 6.65 million; and led in Wisconsin by 20,500 out of 3.24 million votes.

Sometimes, you just get lucky. But given that Biden’s margins largely came from mail-in ballots, further review is necessary before he is certified as the winner. A lot can go wrong with mail-in votes. The Washington Post reported in August that 534,000 mail-in ballots were rejected across the country in this year’s primary elections, which typically see much smaller turnouts than the record-setting general election.

This would suggest that far more ballots, the majority of which favored Democrats, were rejected this month – or perhaps should have been. Color me skeptical since we haven’t heard Democrats complain about this in a very tight race. We need to know how and why ballots were tabulated.

Before this election, Democrats and their media allies regularly attacked Republican support for voter ID laws by claiming that there was little proof of in-person fraud as opposed to absentee votes, which had traditionally favored the GOP.

They now insist that America’s elections are as pure as Caesar’s wife. To embrace that view, one must also assert that electoral politics – a field dominated by highly ambitious and often conniving figures competing in one of the few zero sum games in life (the winner gets everything and the loser nothing) – is perhaps the only human endeavor free from corruption.

The truth is we don’t know the true extent of voter fraud because we don’t look for it. Consider the 2018 election in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District. In the Republican primary, Mark Harris defeated incumbent Rep. Robert Pittenger while garnering 96% of Bladen County’s mail-in vote. That astonishing total was the reddest of flags. Nevertheless, North Carolina’s Board of Elections did nothing. This criminal behavior came to light when a Harris operative engaged in additional illegal ballot harvesting in the general election, prompting his Democratic opponent to lodge a complaint, which led to a new race.

Texas is one of the few states that has made some effort to investigate voter fraud: In 2018 alone, 33 people were convicted of the crime. This August, the city council race in Paterson, N.J., was invalidated because of voter fraud.

Mail-in ballots raise a host of other concerns regarding the 2020 race. Did ineligible voters – including noncitizens, barred felons, or the dead – participate? Did people registered in multiple states cast multiple ballots, or vote in the swing state they had moved from rather than the safe state they now reside in? How many people sent in their absentee ballot and also showed up at the polls to make sure their vote counted?

Given Biden’s razor-thin margins, these questions must be asked and answered. Apart from providing clarity about the 2020 result, a thorough ballot review will build confidence about future elections by determining whether fraud and error are merely political hiccups or a cancer on our body politic.

For many Republicans, Biden’s anointment by media outlets that have savaged Trump for four years seems less like a cold-eyed reckoning of the math than a partisan move to set the terms of debate going forward.

Imagine the reverse: What if Biden had had a comfortable lead on Election Day that evaporated as the counting occurred in Republican strongholds, eventually giving Trump margin-of-error wins in key states? Would the Associated Press and CNN and all the others now be declaring Trump the winner or reporting that a long battle looms to ensure that the count was fair and accurate?

An honest accounting of the 2020 returns will not heal our nation. But Biden’s support for such an effort would provide the kind of national leadership we desperately need.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
