Not a teacher. ... How is that old saying. Those who can't work illegally don't, those who can teach.

ah Nicholasba??   What the hell are you talking about man? None of us have ever heard of the term "illegal teachers!"

You are tying to use "Reverse Psychology" by asking such a question. So allow me to translate for you: You are asking if it's ok for you to work illegally because everyone else works illegally, so you wanna study everything before your jump on the boat, but wanna weight the risks.

So funny. lol

nicholasba:

Haha, that's indeed reverse psichology, mate. But you shouldn't work illegally, is risky;)

Just kidding... I got the Vicky syndrome recently....

I don't think it would be very smart for anyone who is to tell you...

Pretty sure their IP address can be tracked and they will get tossed out of China.

Many FTs work illegally in China. Every part-time job is illegal by Chinese law, butT... there aren't enough FTs in China, so everybody moonlights. Except me! I have bazillion full-time hours, so I rest....

Even work at Summer camp during the holidays is illegal, despite Schools offer Contract.

I do , I do!!!! On my visa and FEC my name is in all caps. Legally only the first letter in each name should be capitalized.

@Wolf: they are afraid, you'll walk away with FEC in the pocket. There're tone of problems for School, if they don't return FEC at your end of work.

At my present job, local FEB told them to keep FEC in the drawer.

Then, I had to show FEC at BOC to open new account and School offered to come with me to the Bank with my FEC. Me: 'stomp my foot! Enough! FEC has my photo and belongs to me! ...or I quit!'

After I got it, I explained to the owner I am required to show FEC to cops at ID, Q: 'What are you doing in China?'

That's Chinese law, I think. At ID, you must show your passport with valid RP and FEC as you employment cert.

Other thing is 'one can hurt school only if exit China with FEC and never return again'. You can't get new job in China, if FEC wasn't canceled/returned.

But despite all, FEC is mine, if it carries my photo.
