Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: How much do you REALLY earn in China these days?
Be honest since we all have anonymity here. How much do you net, doing what, and for how many hours. Do you get any cool perks and benefits? I do 16 hours of corporate training a week to net 24,000 a month and then teach tennis on my days off to rich housewives in my community for 400 an hour but only have three students. So monthly between the two gigs I average about 35,000 a month, but only have one day off. My greatest perk is meeting a lot of cute babes from the housewives who always want to fix me up.
Don't forget the 50 cents you get for every post.
RiriRiri:
Don't be upset, there's nothing bad doing little extras on sundays :)
expatlife26:
how can you bash and trash our friend, pal, and ally almost?
You even drove him to profanity!
RiriRiri:
This is a misunderstanding, I wasn't bashing our friend, I was encouraging him to be thorough when declaring his revenues. We all know the Organization has many enemies who won't hesitate to take advantage of any inacuracy, so I think this is important that everyone knows our friend Almost earns a honest 5 mao for every post.
Care to share your education (diploma) with us?
Almost:
I have an BBA and MBA but didn't need the MBA for either job to be honest.
icnif77:
I asked, because I am certain, Chinese School managers can differentiate between the two diplomas you listed, despite English level of most managers in China I had contact, is only 'passable', or far below 'fluent'.
I'm sure, Chinese know value of your MBA, and pay you triple as standard in China.
FT with MBA can make Chinese students learn English much faster than ordinary FT with BA only.
Some posters here I read replies, hold BA, major English, and earn just around 10000 Rmb/month, and only 'perk' they get is never ending Contract at Uni.
However, they never post their earnings on public thread, like you.
If you teach tennis without proper education, you are liable in Chinese court.
I suggest, you bring only 2 balls, when you couch 'how to...tennis'.
One might assume that you think you are making big bucks for doing fuck all and want to blow smoke up your own ass about it.
I'm sure it is great compared to living on your mom's old sofa in the basement but......A post like this just makes you a tool!
I hope the tennis milfs don't get pissed and report you for illegal work because you shagged their friend/cousin/sister and dumped her.
xinyuren:
you think he really teaches tennis? LOL. This guy's not even a teacher.
iWolf:
Almost, you are almost a twonk but still lack the ability to recognize sarcasm even when it is surrounded by other sentences taking the piss out of you.
You sir, are a fooking genius! (Explaination for Almost a Twonk....this is sarcasm)
JacobJohn:
hahahahahahahahahah I can't stop lauging, LOoooooooooL. This is so funny!
wait a second! You're not the real almost!!!!
The real almost is married and not interested in meeting babes via housewife tennis lessons,
http://answers.echinacities.com/question/are-you-guys-aware-50-us-have-b...
THIS is the real almost who is concerned his wife is going to buy a handbag instead of a water purifier.
WHO ARE YOU REALLY, FAKE ALMOST?
DO YOU EXPECT US TO BELIEVE THAT USER:ALMOST IS JUST A CLUMSY SPAM ACCOUNT THAT DOESN'T INTEND TO INTERACT WITH US BUT JUST MAKE STATEMENTS WITH NO CONTINUITY TO PROVIDE COVER FOR SPAM LINKS????
because that's paranoid drivel. Good Almost is a good man and a regular poster pal on this forum and he would never spam anyone or cheat on his wife.
This account is just some recruiter trying to destroy the credibility of Good Almost.
RiriRiri:
It must be "aimost", with a i instead of a L. That's all I can think of.
icnif77:
That's called 'DD' in Durden's lingo, or 'due diligence'....You were selected for an up-vote from our 'Treasury department'….
You are too much friend. Do you even have an income? If you can't contribute to the OP GFY. I asked a legitimate question, as I always do. Who I chase and play with is none of your business is it? I use any links it is directly related to the OP. I have no business and nothing to sell so your "spam" comment is ridiculous, especially since I did not cite any link in this thread. Now, what is your opinion on the topic?
RiriRiri:
Wait a second, the OP is you. Forgot to switch account maybe?
Edit: if you think my comment looks cryptic, it's because he edited his post.
expatlife26:
I dont believe you. Good Almost is a decent honorable man. Hes not some skirt chasing recruiter trying to ruin his own good name like you are.
I don't get the point to this question. Are you gloating or are you auditing and comparing yourself to others?
xinyuren:
He thinks he's gloating using fake information. Which is fine because his account is fake too, so...
Almost...nothing.
Edit: ...minus 30%. (thanks Mike!)
Wait a minute. 3 posts in a row? The signature posting style of that one certain loser we all know and hate?
Good rule of thumb for gauging chinese salaries in China.
Whatever someone tells you. Minus 30%. Hes probably making close to 20 and pleased as hell about it but when he thought about it it didnt sound high enough to gloat.
ScotsAlan:
I reckon you underestimate the OP Mike.
It's not as if he is even a good gloater .
I bow down to your superior skill in that department .
Only joking with you dude. Have an .
I reckon the 400 per hour is what he pays an auntie for a happy ending.
Hotwater:
@Scotalan...so he pays the Ayi 3.33rmb for his happy ending? (Think about it....)
I have never made any money in China, but I spend more than you claim to make.
You just loooooove the white worship here don't you....way to rub it in everyone's faces

expatlife26:
Chama this guys not real, just ones of those CFTU trolls.
if you're unfamiliar this thread shows their colors.

Troll.
But to be honest, the question is valid. So I'll answer: as a teaching freelancer only working maybe 10 hours a week on average, I only make about 8000 a month. It's not much (by expat standards, and especially in Shanghai), but I set my hours (no mornings or weekends!) and love my work. I turn down a lot of potentially lucrative but otherwise unwanted offers. I never had that freedom at my former full time positions.
