Q: How much per hour for 1 on 1 teaching?

I'm in Gansu but not in Lanzhou. I'm in a smaller city so I imagine somewhat less than Lanzhou.

I live in a horribly small town. Right now my going rate is 100 an hour. But thats only because people generally cant afford much more.

The bigger the city the more the money you can ask for. You gotta feel it out though. Keeping your rates low means you will get more students. High rates might seem nice but it really depends on what you want your bottom line to look like.

At least 100 RMB an hour. If you have experience teaching, then definitely charge more.

Depends how good teacher you are and how well the student do.
Once there is good progress and students refer you, you can earn more than 200 per hour.
