Q: How much it costs for visit to expat oriented private clinic in China?
150 RMB, 250 RMB or more? A public hospital in Beijing only charges 7 RMB but I heard a private clinic now charges up to several hundreds of RMB, is this true?

United Family Hospital in Beijing demands even more...for a mere visit to see the doctor they charge 1300 rmb approx. I think if you can speak Chinese and don't mind the chaos of a Chinese hospital, it's better to go to a non-expat oriented one if you want to save a lot of money.
If you don't mind 300 rmb for a drip instead of a glass of water.
the international hospital of huashan hospital in downtown shanghai is just a department of the actual hospital and is therefore a bit cheaper. 300rmb to see a doctor. 500-800 if its in the evening/night or weekends. medicine is the same price as the chinese hospital. if i need something i usually go to the chinese hospital. 15 kuai will do it..., some of those doctors also can speak english...
