Just wondering if Beida and QInghua are all they're hyped up to be. I was wondering if people had friends in those universities, or perhaps any info on what starting salaries were for Beida and Qingua graduates.
For instance, let's say a company had to choose between a Qinghua graduate and a returning Chinese who attended a pretty good university in the US.

From what I know it is the company you are dealing with. Some companies still have the discrimination that was going on in the 60's in America. If you find a good company they will hire you for the skills and not your school or if your chinese or not. It doesn't matter if it is Qinhua or Beida if you don't have experience they will count that towards not hiring you. I know some school or training centers want you to have 3 years of teaching experience or work experience. How would you get work experience if you never worked? Most recent graduates don't have a lot of work experience.
