Q: How much RMB do you spend a day?

Just curious to know what other expats' lifestyles are like.

Discounting things like rent, electricity, gaz, water, etc...just transportation, food, leasure, etc...how much do you spend a day?

During my travels around Shenzhen, I think I spent an average of 120 RMB a day.

Very little - less than that 20 weekday thing as an actual 'spend per day', because I do my food shopping sporadically...

And, I save to do stuff big - like fly across the country to visit people.

I average around 20-50 rmb on a day (20 for weekday, 50 for weekend).  Weekends just depend if I'm going to be too lazy to put on pants or not.

HugAPanda:

See.. you need those baby pants for lazy weekends. And the sequined ones when you want to snazz it up and go out! Win win!

For just myself, I spend about 50-100RMB per day for just food & essentials.  On the odd night, I have been known to drop 2k+ just to have some fun.

Actually spend about 50-100 rmb per day during the week and roughly 200 rmb per day on the weekend. Fairly basic lifestyle.

If it's a normal day, where I only buy food, less than 30 RMB a day. I don't know what necessities cost, but it's usually things like toilet paper and tissues.

Man, some of you guys are expensive (or maybe I'm cheap). Monday and Tuesay I spent "0." Wednesday, I spent 3 RMB on some tea. Yesterday, I bought lunch (and had something left over for dinner), so that was 30 RMB.

Today, however, I spent 288 RMB on books, lol. heart Usually, I can keep it less than 30RMB per day.
