TBH, this is the kind of question i would normally expect from a random Chinese person.
No small talk, but straight in for the demand for information.
i would be more inclined to answer questions like this if there was more of a degree of engagement from the OP, not a question that sounds like a demand or interrogation.
Sinobear:
Hey...this makes for a great template answer for all the tr0lls who ask questions of this type.
sorrel:
I have said this a few times over the last couple of years.
Trolls give themselves away in a number of different ways, not only the way they post.
I agree with Sorrel, it kind of reminds me of a few interactions I've had with Chinese. I'll be walking around minding my own business and someone will shriek at me, "how much were those shoes?" or "how much was that bag?". I didn't take offense to it - I've seen this kind of interaction between lots of Chinese as well, no attempt at pleasantries or conversation. Just get to the point, and of course the point is about money and often an invasion of people's privacy about their financial situation.
RandomGuy:
"How much money do you make?" "More than you do." The right answer, watch the frustration building up on their face.
Not Chinese. Not a troll. Interesting questions pop up in my head, and I like hearing your guys's responses. It's fun!
Why do you guys always worry about who's trolling or not? If it's a fun question, just have fun with it, fun police.
It depends on wether I go to a bar or not.
If no bar, then I might spend 20 rmb in a day. If I have a downtown blowout I might spend 2000RMB.
If you can be more specific with your question (eg...how much did you spend last Saturday), I can give you a more specific answer
BHGAL:
most every day.... 50 on booze.... 20 on smokes... 90 on food .add that up

Two meals a day and drinks at any of the restaurants/fast food places/family mart around the office for a max of 50yuan per day in total, but splashing a bit on weekends. GF also pulls her weight, so money not an issue.
I spend waaaaaaaay too much on food. At least 100 every day. I know it's a bad habit but I've grown to hate Chinese food. I just don't want to shit my pants every day. Plus, I don't have the time or skills to cook for myself. That plus cab fare, beer, cigs, etc puts me at about 130-150 daily.
I make about 1000RMB/day so I guess it's fine, but I should really be saving more.
Can sometimes spend very little 40-50 kuai on lunch and some vegetables and meat to cook for dinner. A night out in Shanghai or Beijing is a different kettle of fish - maybe up to 6,000 in a night with entertainment, drinks, dinner and hotel included.
125g of royal ossetra caviar. 3000RMB
