Isn't it cheaper just to pick up guys at KFC etcetera, or have you now learned that if you want a little quality you have to pay more for it. I suggest you tell everyone what you are prepared to pay and then see if anyone responds.

Hi Victoria, if you are talking about rent then here is my answer. I am in Tianjin and like most cities I imagine the price is very different depending on how far you are from the city center. I found my 2 bedroom apartment far from the center (but next to the subway) cost the same as a 1 bedroom apartment in the city center. I pay around 2700rmb a month. I imagine every city is different though.

5% above the price paid by locals, that could have been 25%, my landlord is a nice man.
my travel expenses, anywhere in China, are 5000RMB. Board and Lodging for the duration of the rental 750RMB/day. Hourly visitation/consultation a mere 500/hr, availability to be confirmed before COMMITMENT and a pre-payment of 7500 requested. Negotiable as per Chinese standards of excellence in procurement.
I pay 2500/mth here in the wild west. But I do expect relief.

Apartment 600/mth in a small 4th tier city. I require less comfort than most, but I'm not complaining. Fridge, airco, TV, but no washer - I go to my family home every week for that. My wife is from the same village as the owner.
As for me, I'm not available for rent. My in-laws would kill me.

It's just a pad where I spend the night on weekdays. My family home in the county is a 108m2 4-bedroom roof-terraced apartment. Recently my wife's cousin stayed in my apartment while I was away for the holidays. I heard he complained about the shower. Works fine if you ask me, but you need to kneel down to get good waterflow. He probably tried to raise it above the water tank, and wondered why the water pressure disappeared. I guess they don't teach people physics here.

4400 for my decent 1 bedroom place near Weining lu and Xianxia lu. I want to move. maybe near zhongshan park or Jing an. I want to find a place within 5 minute walk of subway line 2 or line 11. super nice and reasonable price! haha..

Not that bad.I would like to share with ppl to save money and spend on other things.Actually he made about 100rmb on me as profit.I pay 1450 with internet fees included,but have to share other fees with him.My room is small but clean and crozy and where I live have guard as well.It is a small room enough for me to live alone:)And I would recommend you to live place around Jingan temple if you like enjoying more entertainment.

Im in a manufacturing area of shenzhen, so you dont really get too many choices, either dormitories for the factory workers or 3/4 bedroom places for the bosses and families. They have just one " serviced apartments" which is where i live. So one bedroom 50sm for 2500 a month.
The area should be cheaper as its a farmer town, and from what ive seen its by far the most expensive, but i know id be paying double in the city, and when im inside with the door closed there is no indication i am in China. So i happily pay it.
Suzhou, in a quiet area, 5mn from my work, serviced apartment with one bed, about 50m square : 2300 RMB/months.
If your renting at Dawan High School in Qingbaijiang it will cost you 200 rmb per month for utilities for a 25 sq, meter cell. I was there last year. Every other school I was in paid everything. I won't tell you the rent I paid for girls.
