Q: How much of your time do you devote to this forum?
Some people appear to have a full time job here, who do I contact to join the team?
i am currently on holiday in europe experiencing bad weather, keeping in contact with friends in China, so WAY too much time
I devote no time (zero hours) to this forum/site…… I do however seem to spend quite a bit of time logged in to it………. For those of us, stranded in a wonderful and often confusing new world, it is an outlet of amazement…. Amazed at this “other world” that we have come to cherish and enjoy for all its idiosyncrasies …. You have already joined our team of “nutcases” with that last post …Welcome.
For me, it gets a little more exciting and a little more informative if I have a couple beer or maybe a little baiju ………….. all in fun…….. Seriously, I have found, if there really is a question… something that you gotta know …. Somebody here will help!! Vast array of knowledge and experience…. And just a small amount of BS…….
Most of us have phones, and log in during work when there's nothing to do. Some people, like myself, are complete and total losers, though. Some people get paid to post anti-China garbage (like me), and others get paid to post anti-west garbage (like 99Silva).

Way tooooooo much time on here but now I am home it is time to do other things however I feel silva / sprite / sparky would fall into a deep state of depression if I did not No why? it

Maybe a few minutes in the morning and I check it out again in the evening when I'm doing emails. No job, no cares, no why.
I have the two computer syndrome. My table top computer is now permanently logged into echinacities. My laptop computer is used for real work. Echinacities is a form of escapism and sometimes a chance to have a good rant and let off steam. I wish there was more banter on it. Most of the threads are far too serious and related to things like foreign affairs or governmental macroeconomic policy. Sometimes there are more light hearted one such as things you can do with a couple of walnuts. They tend to break the monotony.
