Q: how often do you get to use your plunger?
new here get a good plunger and a snake and a lifeline to a plumber my 2-3 month issue is certainly not me... somewhere downstream ... good luck finding a plumber that knows what the fuck he is doing.. my system is not critical yet but getting slower and slower draining frantically plunge it daily to little or no avail
Only when I use too much tp and then the plunger sometimes lacks suction power. My toilet seems to handle heavy loads just fine for now though.
When you say it's slow draining do you mean the toilet or sinks/ shower?
If it's the latter get some chemical drain cleaner and dump it down there, it's probably choked up with long Chinese hair from your better half.
If it's your toilet... are you flushing your paper?
Sounds like the septic tank needed to be pumped out. If you live in an apartment building asked if anyone else has this problem. If they do it’s probably that. Also do you have a bad smell coming from your sink when you do plung it?

Seriously. If my bathroom sink is slow draining I plunge the shower drain No point plunging the sink because it just has a flexible hose going into a hole in the floor.
Oh, and tooth picks to get the long hairs hanging down the shower drain. You see a couple of hairs hanging over the grate, might be supporting a fur ball 6 inches down.

Nah man, I've tried that and guess what your first nasty surprise in your new pad is going to be... a toilet that fills up with poo when you flush it and a shower drain full of pubes and long hair.
You're better off finding a place you like,unblocking the drains, and dealing with your own mess.
