I find them funny and amusing sometimes.
don't see it much in Beijing now....heard some fights here...but i've never seen one..........Shanghainess I heard they like to squabble ,,..so well some other small towns...but all in all it should be much less than before when Chinese were too poor.......when ppl got finacial problems, they all tend to lose temper easily....AM I RIGHT?.....have you seen Greece ppl on tv recently?
Whats so funny? is your Chinese good enough to understand Shanghai hua?..seriously...i dont understand it...
RRainier:
well, from the look of it, its funny how they deal things here. the mere fact that they can't tolerate much and their patience is so short over trivial things, which I believe it is, then i'd say it's funny. my chinese isn't good, but my wife helps me out understand.
nevermind:
True to propaganda form, always point the finger at a totally unrelated nation.
At least once a week. Whenever I see a crowd on the side of the street, I know it's either a dead body or two idiots fighting.
Every day.
Bargaining, subway seats, shopping, gambling, etc...
In fairness though, sometimes I see a couple of people having a really nasty squabble, only to find out later that they are just having a good time...
I've seen the same scene twice while riding past on a public bus:
A man and woman fighting on the street. The man punching and kicking the woman. And of course a crowd of Chinese people at a safe distance, staring and taking photos. It makes me feel sick.
I am very glad that Chinese men are utterly ineffective fighters (I'd really like to inhabit one of those women's bodies at that moment and teach her husband something valuable).
Yeah, I had a funny thought after the fact. The lady was squabbling with this other lady sitting in the car. The squabble for like 10 minutes I watch and walk at the same time. Later, the lady that's squabbling at the other lady she goes to the other side of the car and gets in and they drive away.
Now at first I thought they were squabbling about an accident. but I didn't see any damage or wreckage. So on goes the squabbling. Then I think maybe she cut her off? But it was weird because I thought they were strangers but apparently they weren't since the lady standing outside hoped in the car and the other lady drove off...
