Q: How often do you take a bath in winter?
What's the rational behind taking a bath once a week or twice a month especially this fast approaching winter period?
i do have a shower when i have the mood for one......Also do enjoy sauna
Bath; never. Shower; daily. Often twice daily when I was in China - the pollution drove me crazy and I wanted to wash it out of my hair.
I have a bathtub in my apartment. Are there people that don't??!?!?!

sadly, not in China. In the US I have one, and I use it at least once a week.

Last year, I bought a rather biggish waist high plastic trash can which was on sale. Filled it up with water and had a nice little mini tub!
Unfortunately, the plastic was not very tough so the third time I used it, it split!
There are some things that fall under the "When in Rome..." cliche for me.....this is not one of them. I shower daily, regardless of the season...twice if necessary.
hang on, is OP asking "Why does people shower ONLY once per week" or is it "Why do people shower all the time" (as in once per week is often)
me, once or twice per day depending on what is going on. in summer when it is really wamr it can be more
I have oily skin and shower at least once a day. I don't wake up until I've showered. Even at home, I rarely use the bath tub. On hot China days I shower many times. I don't understand bathing less in winter, ya'd get a bit ripe.

Shower half awake, I'm not a morning person. Half the time I never remembered the drive to work. I have 3 showers, 2 whirlppol tubs that I don't use and a hot tub outside.
I always shower every morning before I do anything... I cant feel like ive woken up until I do.
And in the summer, I usually have another quick shower when I get home from work.
Just before going to bed (nice and clean, and it helps me keep warm) and right after getting up in the morning (wakes me up and warms me up).
twice a day,as usual,nothing changes after all the water is hot and my gf wont allow me to bed if I haven;t taken a good shower at night.
Usually twice daily, sometimes three times during the Summer and definitely before going to bed.
Ofcourse there are bathtubs in China. The last 3 years i have been using a bathtub.

I take a shower every evening -- I never take a shower in the winter in the morning and then head out -- the pores are still open and it's a good way to catch a cold or worse.

981, that's a very old urban myth, there is absolutely no scientific link between temperature and the cold virus.
Every morning when working and every evening working or not. In the summer it can be a lot more as in Nanning the summers get hot. Winters are cold without heating but I pretty much insist on being clean. I'm not too keen on skipping my morning showers, but if I don't intend to leave the house I sometimes will. My summer habit of midday showers aren't necessary in the winter though.
I shower every morning in the winter. More often in the summer, because of the heat. Anything less is just kind of gross. I wouldn't take a bath though. I mean, I get the idea of a nice soak, but really it needs to be in something larger than a tub or else I feel like I'm just sitting in my own filth.
I bathe once a year whether I need it or not.
Golden Showers a little more often though...
