I don't think "reliable" and "taxi driver" should go in the same sentence Smile But seriously, they know the city pretty well so I'm sure they'll be able to get you to your destination.

One of the best ways to not get cheated with night taxis is to learn some of the most crude and unpleasant phrase you can. If the traffic is bad use them to talk about the traffic, or the same if the weather is bad, etc. It's one of those little tricks to make them know you are more than just a random tourist, so they are less likely to take you the long way home. Plus then you have a good choice of phrases to use against them when they do try to cheat you.
