There are two different sets of considerations here:

1.  If you are doing a demo in a LTC, then you should err on the side of being cute, witty, entertaining and the "white monkey" syndrome.  I hate to say it.  Content plays a very small role given the nature of an LTC.

2.  If you are doing  a demo in a government school, then you should focus on delivery, content, engaging the students, etc.,etc., presentation techniques (PowerPoint, etc., etc.).  Successful and pleasant delivery of content plays a big role here.
