Q: How will you teach your children about your culture?
For those of you raising kids in China- Are there certain parts of your culture that your kid will miss out on? Do you think you will end up taking your family back home, and if not ,how will you teach your child about their heritage?
The most important part of my culture.
"Question everything"
Why you ask. Well, It might not be specific to my culture, but my children must learn critical thinking .... and of course enjoy eating meatballs.
Despite coming from a relatively modest country compared to China, it has a lot to offer in terms of culture and values. The values are more important than the culture. My children can be noodle fueled if that is what they want, but they MUST have decent manners, respect other people and put others first.
You can't seriously consider raising a kid in China if you love him. I don't even know where to start... health, education, you name it really.

It was just out of curiosity, there're are no kids on the horizon for me 
I agree with you about the health concerns though, i'd be really worried about the food safety...
As long as my child has manners and a stiff upper lip, things will be fine.
You need to enact/show it in some way. Children are great imitators.
