Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: How is the working conditions for Indian nationals in china??
8 years 18 weeks ago in Business & Jobs - China
Hey,
Getting straight to point---mostly depends on your qualification and experience (unfortunately, not always the case in China). I don't need to mention that language is definitely the basic criteria. There are many Indians working here in different sectors (check the consulate website to get in touch with them). Many Indians are working as teachers as well- English, Math, Business, etc.As you sound like a fresh graduate, you should be aware that you may not be offered too high salary to begin with (specially as we are considered to be non-native English speakers). Don't get pessimistic after reading some of these comments. Remain positive. Every country has its law, preconceived notions, assumptions etc. You are bound to face hurdles. I am not sure what kind of job you are looking for, but I wish you the best. Frankly, you should try for yourself as you wont know the reality about the job market through this platform. Get out there and give it a shot. Sooner or later you will end up with something decent.
Cheers

"As you sound like a fresh graduate"
how on earth could you have known this only by reading a one lined question??
Depends on the company they'd be working for.
Your question needs to be more specific.
Only Indian national can tell you how is in China.
Did you know, word 'conditions' is plural? I'm just off TOEFL prep class.
Hotwater:
Conditions is right. "How is the..." Is wrong when used with a plural. Working has multiple conditions....salary, employer attitude, etc
icnif77:
What did I say?----> ''pl.' can't be addressed with 'is'!"
Shenme? noun ('conditions') is pl. so,....you can learn every day something new, even from Non like 'moi':
Noun . conditions. plural of condition. 2012 March 1, William E. Carter, ... Conditions were horrendous aboard most British naval vessels at the time.
Stop 'engineering' me!
Hotwater:
Though I think we're making the same point. Question should have been "How ARE the working conditions....blah blah blah?"
icnif77:
You are Native, but your 'sight compass' needs to be adjusted a bit.
We were talking about the same thing from different angle. However, you tried to correct my correction. Similar to 'R. Hess forgot to forget that he has forgotten', quote from Nuremberg (translated to English by me, so I might missed the correct English tenses for verb 'forget').
I hate to be too detailed, when I spot mistake. I think, Chinese 'face' influenced me.
I want to help (by pointing to mistake) and they hate it. I can't find short-cut to that 'riddle'.
You will have the same rights as any other foreign national in China. Please remember though that by signing contracts you will be bound to them, so the conditions are what you agree to when negotiating on the contract. How you are treated by the Chinese in general will be important too. Less ignorant people will treat you fairly, ignorant ones will act weird around you for some time.

Abba cab(geniuses ) and big yellow taxi (cant remember who sung it )
icnif77:
Google changed name on Mainland. It's called 'Yahoo-gle'. I know some of her songs, but not 'taxi'.
I mixed up your posts. Admin deleted one of my comments, and I look at that thread, and saw your post about one song.
I thought it was my reply there harmonised, but you edited, because there is just one song's title. I remember, I replied on two songs post of yours. I was like 'mastard, he edited and complained to the boss I'm off topic'. And your post there is just below, where 'tits' is saying 'FO' LOL
Now, I'm seeing my reply here is still alive.
I'm not sure, what Boss is complaining for, but I wrote him long letter 'how you edited, and of course I was off topic after...'.
The tune is called 'Blame it on you' performed by .....
I remember now: I commented to 'tits' post 'You got big tits.....LOLLOThat's off topic. Tits 'fork off' is OK, but me measuring his hooters is 'off topic'. I need feet massage.....
