Q: Howdo I know if I have successfully applied for a position

i have sent 3 applications in but  have no idea if it as gone through.How do I know if I have successfully applied for a position?

i'm guessing its for a chinese run company or school.  they will reply back if they are interested.  they will not reply if they feel you are not right for the job.  there is no rule of thumb on how long it takes to receive the reply, but i'm guessing if its been longer than a week, you need to keep looking.  good luck!
