Q: Is that husbands like cooking or they're forced to cook for their families?
I have no idea about the reasons for other husbands, but in my case I do cook sometimes because I do like to cook once in a while, and also if she works and I do not, iit is nice to come home and find a good dinner waiting for you. And last, but not least, if I wish to eat Western, I cook. If we eat Chinese, she cooks.
I was brought up with the idea that there are no "men" jobs or "women" jobs in a household, whomever has time does it. And somehow, it has worked beautifully for me.
I don't know about Chinese husbands, but I have not met any chinese women that are good cooks, same as home women. I like to cook and I'm pretty good at it. if you don't like to cook then how can you. Its the only way i can get a decent meal. Or like I tell my girl friends when they cook, ''its Ok , carbon is one of the three major food groups'' !! ![]()
My wife began the cooking but after 6 months of eating bland over cooked vegetables with little meat, I ended her torture and became the full time cook. Not her forcing me but I happily said get the hell away from the stove or suffer the consequence.
In my family,My dad does cooking mostly as he's way better than my mum's. Sorry Mum ,what's more,My dad gets more free time than mum and He enjoys it.
Here in Australia,If I want to eat Chinese food,I cook. If husband wants to eat western food,He cooks. But I prefer Chinese food,so,I cook mostly which I don't mind.

I used to cook for my wife, but she didn't like my cooking... and to be honest, neither did I...
I am being forced by my wife to cook, not every day, maybe 3-4 times per week.. Coincidentally I enjoy cooking.
a number of younger guys i have met can cook, but don't have a girl-friend. I told them that if they went to my home country there would be queues of girls for them - it is good skill for anyone to have

I live in an odd household... we both like cooking, so if there's any issue, it's over who gets to cook. Of course, neither of us is Chinese, so it may be of limited relevence here.
