have you tried applying for any jobs in Kunming?
if not, then this is the first thing anyone with a brain-cell would do.

if you have, maybe there is no interested employer.
depending on the area you want to work, maybe there is no demand for a foreign worker, when there are thousands of Chinese people who would be better suited.
