Q: I am new to Yangshuo and need to buy:

Looking to buy:

- mattress topper

-small fridge

-White dulux wall paint and brushes

I can travel to Guilin too though if I could buy the above items in Yangshuo then that would be the easiest option.

leave your home and take the buses to explore the city. look for gomz or sunning to buy the fridge.

paint supplies you need to find the section of the city that sells home improvement stuff. (easy to spot)

i do not understand why someone would go to a completely new and different country and not want to explore.

you can also google walmart, carrefour, rt mart to see if they have supermarkets in your city. metro also. any large supermarket will have a topper.

get out and explore.

everytime i go to a new city i use the buses to explore, in 2 days i find everywhere important in the city for my shopping needs.

Thank you. Just to clarify, it is nothing to do with not wanting to get out and explore but more to do with only having two days here to help a family member get organised!

A:It happened to me, once ... in 2014 or 15 ...Plane from RP city (Tianjin) had more than 10h delay and I came to the HK's exit Luohu some 7 hours after the RP expiration date.In real, I came to the exit crossing just on time or only an hour late, but Luohu is closed overnight (10pm - 6am), which I didn't know. There were two unexpected things happened at that exit: flight's delay with closed Luohu overnight on the topI had a decent and real excuse for the cops next morning, but still I was put in a side office for some 3 or 4h and then cops had a short lecture with '.. and make sure, it will never happened again! ..', and I was let go without anything on my record. At least, at the new Z visa application and following reentry to China nobody ever mentioned anything about the delayed exit. However, I had a bad, un-eased feeling at the following Z visa appearance in Wanchai ...It is much, much wiser and safer to exit at least a day or even a few days ahead of the RP expiration date. -- icnif77
