Since I can see an overwhelming support of posters, I'll offer another in-dept look at 6m/1Y Gold chart, courtesy of C. Maund, Precious metals analyst:

We will now review the evidence on the charts that makes a compelling case to moving into the sector now. 

We start with the latest 6-month chart for gold, on which we see that it has suffered a substantial drop from the middle of last month, but it is now considered likely that it hit bottom last Tuesday – Wednesday, and is forming an intermediate bottom here, meaning that it should turn up again soon. On this chart we can also see that it is oversold on its MACD indicator and relative to its moving averages. 

The 1-year chart provides some more perspective, and on this chart we can also see that gold has been critically oversold for most of this month on its RSI indicator, which increases the probability that it is basing, and also that its Stochastics indicator is turning up after a period at a very low level, which commonly leads to a rally.

Thus it is more than a little interesting to observe on the latest COT chart for gold that the Commercials have been unloading their short positions at a very rapid clip in recent weeks, so much so that they have all but evaporated. This is viewed as a very bullish development indeed. We could not boldly take positions in the sector without this happening first. Just a few short weeks ago the COT structure for gold was terribly bearish, and for silver it was even worse, which is why we went short. Now we see that the coast is clear for us to go long the sector with confidence, and as we will see on the charts for GDX shown below, the proximity of strong support means that we can set fairly tight stops to get us out for a modest loss in the event that prices break lower again.

Now it’s laugh or cry time with this pair of trend power indicators. The observation here is that it can’t get any worse, and you know what? – when things get this bad, oftentimes we see a sudden turn for the better…

As lame as it may seem, and we are only talking about physical appeareance, I have seen a few good looking western women in china, mostly average or below, but this make sense considering that we are in china and we are foreigners. I would like to ask you how many good looking Chinese women you have spotted in your country, but again beauty standards are different...

I don't think that Chinese women are...ugly. I just think they max out at just above average. Like the absolute best looking local women are pretty but they lack a certain sexyness. Could be attitude for one, I think a lot of girls here are really awkward. Where a foreign girl is comfortable being sexy and knows how to work it.

Chinese girls are thin. And for a lot of western guys come from place where just being thin might seem impressive for a woman, I think these guys overrate Chinese girls for that reason. They aren't beautiful, they just aren't unattractive.

Totally not saying a girl has to be 1.83M and <50KG to be beautiful, but obesity in either gender is unattractive. 

So I would believe that the average local girl could be better looking than the average american girl. But the best looking American girls (of all ethnicities) absolutely blow away the best looking chinese girls. Pun intended.

I'm not sure where you live exactly, but try any big expat-favorite bar or nightclub in one of the big 4 cities. Look around and tell me that if you had you pick of one to take home that it wouldn't be a Russian or Argentinean or something.

Unless you have a strong preference for asian women, which is totally fair enough, but honestly I think the western-born ones still have the sexier attitudes and better body language.

You've put a lot of the sexiness of the rest of the world - Argentina/Latino, Russian/East European - down to non-physical traits. Sexual confidence, basically.

And yeah totally back home I remember there being hot asian chicks in my classes and stuff. There is just something about China specifically that I find really just...unsexy.

Part of it is that i'm not crazy about asian women in general, but couple that with the kinda awkwardness I feel from 99% of women I talk to here and it's nothing for me. 

A lot of it is the body type though. I just think latinas have better bodies, and european girls do skinny better.

In defense of both hot Russian girls & Russians in general they tend to have a biting satirical sense of humor that very much speaks to me. Read any of Bulgakov’s work and you can see what I’m talking about.

They aren’t super jovial, but they can definitely be a funny people. And no, not just because I want to sleep with them. I have platonic female Russian friends who I enjoy the company of.

I mean are they really sour faced or are you just not talking to them while jumping to conclusions about their personalities?

I'm just guessing here, but she probably has 2 roommates and lives in a <100m2 apartment built around 2000. Not filthy & super old, but certainly not luxury. Makes 15,000 in a good month, probably an average of around 10, maybe less. No proper visa. Immediate dating options are equivalent male models who make less and have no future and sleazy old guys. I'm just saying don't assume her life is so amazing that she must be too bitchy to talk to you. Be an interesting person and you'd be surprised.;

As an Aussie, I  tend to smile at (some) people I see on the street, in the buses, etc. The complete lack of response when smiling to a girl is what makes me think she's Russian.... from hearing them talk later, turns out I'm often right!.
