Q: I have one week holiday, what should I do?

My girlfriend is going home and I have one week holiday. I'm near both Xi'an and Lanzhou. What should I do so as to not die of boredom?

Go to the closest place if your holiday is the national day week because travelling will be hell.

Stockpile food and dvds and just try your best to hibernate during the national holiday. Maybe grab a block of wood and work on your whittling skills. Practice holding your breath for long periods of time. Even start a booger collection if you must.... Anything is better than traveling during that week.

A:I ain't sure if this will help, but I used to say ...:"Never stop sending your CVs, not even if you already have an interview invitation!" MS degree is completed online ... That might be the reason 'cause I don't think employer in China can secure legal Working permit by presenting degree completed online. TEFL Course completed online was/is acceptable, but I'm not sure about your MS ... Have a look at the requirements for Z visa in China ...  Good luck! -- icnif77
