Q: I just arrived in Beijing why does everyone keep pointing at me! ?

Ok here it is, I have arrived recently to Beijing for a tech start up business.

Every time i go to this soup place, I sit down, have my soup and always feel like a baboon in a zoo being watched in amazement because it learned to peel a freaking banana.
and when you look at them they keep staring like .. 0_0

Seriously?? Any advice on how i should react, am i doing something wrong? like using shop sticks and a spoon?

Sorry for that.

Once when I went out with one of my foreign friend. he asked me the some question.
Then I realized, yeah chinese people like to stare at foreigners....
you may feel that not be respected, but they intended no harm
there is nothing wrong with u

just ignore them or give a smile back.

Trust me, even as time goes by, people will always point at you. It's even worse at halloween, christmas, easter, and everyday when i put some themed costume to work, to show my employee i'm not just "Milord", but also the cool guy that can be their friend when needs be, because i believe a trustful relation with your peons can really improve their productivity!

In your home country the people stare at Chinese in the same way.

The men are also going to stare at your appendage in the WC.
