Happy to explain it to you.  200/hr my place, not yours.  Place cover shoes on at the door and wash your hands twice before sitting at the table.

Suggest a 75 minute class twice per week and a commitment from you to attempt an English speaking lifestyle.

Whacko the chook.

you are arrogant and have prejudice against Chinese,i do not say more about you, which will waste my time.,what i want to do is not to invite you as my english tutor but  to give you a slap in your face..

Where's the arrogance?  I fail to see how my response could be construed as arrogant.

Everyone who enters my house puts on cover shoes and washes their hands.  Perhaps asking to wash twice is a but much but I have long observed that people do not wash their hands properly.

Suggesting the best way of improving English is to engage in it as much as possible (an English speaking lifestyle) is good advice.

Most people's problem comes from learning English but seldom/never using it.

You're offended, I apologize.  Take it easy.

I could ve been of some help if i was in Beijing. I am in Qingdao. Although a non native speaker but recently got 8 score in IELTS

royceH:

You got an 8!  Congratulations to you, person.  I know half the native English speaking world couldn't even dream of an IELTS 8.

Good luck with it!

@Roych: because native speakers take English as there heritage while non natives put their untiring efforts in learning the language. There are many non natives with scores above 7 in IELTS. And the way you responded to the help seeker/OP shows your mentality that you must not be able to get a job as a waiter back at home but thanks to Chinese employers bringing you here as a teacher.

royceH:

Fidu, you should take it easy too.  I've never looked for a job as a waiter but it's something I wouldn't ever say no to.  In the right place it mightn't be so bad.  And certainly, in my country, it pays pretty well too.

The job market is tight in most places in the world and, as it happens, I'm not unhappy to be working in China at the moment.

The trade offs though are more than I could be bothered typing.  However, there are plusses.

Oh, btw...get stuffed!

Oh...yeah, I see.  Your meaning is that if  I were to seek employment as a waiter I would be bound to be unsuccessful.  Hahahahaha....your wit, sir, prevents you.

Suggest you stick to whatever it is you do best.

And, pray tell, what is it you have against waiters?  It is, in fact, a noble profession for many people around the world.

But not in China, right?

Perhaps an eastern european DJ/Model/Hooker would cost less and have a great perspective about learning english for profit. It's worth a shot.

Sorry Tony, but nobody is gonna be that nice to you when you treat a forum like this as your personal ad space, especially when there is a job board on this site for people to advertise their jobs.

Hi Tony,

This space isn't supposed to be used for advertising. If you need to find a teacher you can head to our jobs or classified section,

Thanks,
