Q: I recently earned my TEFL certificate, I'm looking for jobs in Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing.

What is the best method to score a position and how do I get in touch with recruiters who may help me in this situation? Thank you for any help you have to offer.

Anybody's applying for a Z visa?

US says it will start revoking visas for Chinese students

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday the United States will start "aggressively" revoking visas of Chinese students, including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields.

If applied to a broad segment of the hundreds of thousands of Chinese university students in the United States, the move could disrupt a major source of income for American schools and a crucial pipeline of talent for U.S. technology companies.

President Donald Trump's administration has sought to ramp up deportations and revoke student visas as part of wide-ranging efforts to fulfill its hardline immigration agenda.

In a statement, Rubio said the State Department will also revise visa criteria to enhance scrutiny of all future visa applications from China and Hong Kong.

"The U.S. State Department will work with the Department of Homeland Security to aggressively revoke visas for Chinese students," he said.

The Chinese Embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A:Nobody can tell you that! You could look at no-response-time in two ways: 1. 'Nobody is interested in your CV and hiring you ...'; or 2. 'Never, ever stop sending your CV to the daily posted job openings and simply disregard no-replies thingy!' It's wrong, to expect replies from the Chinese advertisers of a new job openings, 'cause Chinese don't behave same as western recruiters by replying: "Thank you for your job application. Unfortunately, you weren't selected at this time. We'll keep your CV on record and if new opportunity arises..." or something in those lines. So, the only remaining choice is no. 2. Looking for the new (non-native E.T.) position in my time in China was like a daily part-time job.  Good luck! -- icnif77
